As a society we are conditioned to obsess about what size we are. This rings especially true when you shop. Well Guess What!! There is no uniform sizing. You could be a 6 in Anne Taylor and a 10 in Rebecca Taylor. How about you concentrate on something that needs to be celebrated.. YOUR SHAPE.

We are all unique, and our bodies are too - whether you are petite, plus size, or a combination, our body shapes are generally narrowed down to five categories: Pear, Inverted Triangle, Rectangle, Apple and Hourglass.

So what shape are you?

 

Pear

Your top silhouette is generally smaller than your hips and full round derrier.

You have a fabulous defined waist that should take center stage

 

 

Apple

The appearance of being wider in your waist, which may have come post baby.

Lower those V necks and show off that amazing cleavage while lengthening your torso.

 

 

Rectangle

Generally your hips, waist, and shoulders are about the same width.

Slim or athletic, your sleek arms and legs steal the show.

 

 

Inverted Triangle

Your chest, torso, and shoulders are broader in relation to your narrow hips.

Raise that hemline to show off those toned legs.

 

 

Hourglass

Your upper body and hips are about the same width with coveted waist definition.

Proper fit is key to showing off your curves in a tasteful way.
